Overview: single-block or multiple-block lace weaves on a plain weave background can yield highly effective cloths, ideal for both wearing and furnishing or decoration. Because they require only one shuttle, weaving is very fast and satisfactory.

Program: types of weave and their threadings; detailed study of one particular weave in order to plan and prepare a warp and weave a sampler. The advanced courses include block theory and planning a multi-block warp to be woven in several variations of one weave.
