Duration of each course: 30 hours

Overview: We will study the structure of this weave, in which each couple of adjoining blocks share one warp end, and examine some threading variations and weaving methods.

Program: choosing a threading, dressing the loom, and weaving a sampler experimenting with different weaving methods; filing the samples.

In the advanced course students will learn how to add framing borders to objects such as table cloths and bedspreads and will study eight-shaft variations of this weave.
